About Export Quote Calculator (EXW to DDP)

Enter what one unit costs you, how many units the buyer wants and your margin. Add the costs you take on at each step: export packing, trucking to the port, export clearance, port handling, sea or air freight, insurance, destination charges and – for DDP – the buyer's import duty and VAT. The calculator builds a price ladder from EXW to DDP, per unit and in total, in your currency and in the buyer's currency at the European Central Bank reference rate (you can type your own rate). Pick the line you want and turn it into a proforma invoice in one click. Nothing is uploaded; your figures stay on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Which costs belong to which Incoterm?

Each term adds the costs the seller takes on: EXW is goods at your door; FCA adds export clearance and delivery to the carrier; FOB adds loading on the ship; CFR/CPT add the main freight; CIF/CIP add insurance; DAP adds delivery to the named place; DPU adds unloading; DDP adds import duty, VAT and import clearance.

Should I put my margin on freight too?

Most exporters add the margin to the goods only and pass freight and fees through at cost. You can choose either; the ladder shows the result straight away.

Where does the exchange rate come from?

From the European Central Bank reference rates (via Frankfurter), with the date shown. Banks add a spread, so type your bank's rate for the final quote.

How is CIF insurance worked out?

Insurance is usually taken for 110 % of the CIF value. The calculator solves this for you from the premium rate you enter (often 0.1–0.3 %).

Is the Export Quote Calculator (EXW to DDP) free?

Yes, completely free with no signup and no daily limit.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.
