Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes – all designs, PDF, Word and TXT downloads are free with no watermark and no sign-up.

Is my resume stored on your servers?

No. Everything you type is saved only in your own browser (so you can come back later) – there is no account. When you click Download, the content is sent once to create the file and is not stored or logged. Use "Clear" to remove it from this browser.

Is it ATS-friendly?

Yes. The PDF contains real, selectable text in reading order (no text inside images), standard section headings and simple fonts. For very strict applicant tracking systems choose the "ATS simple" design: one column, no tables, no photo.

Can I import my LinkedIn profile?

Yes. On LinkedIn open your profile → More → Save to PDF, then import that PDF here. We fill in what we can recognise (best effort) and you check the rest.

Should I add a photo?

It depends on the country. In the US, UK and Canada leave it out. In Korea, Japan, Germany and many other countries a photo is common. The US design never shows a photo.

Can AI improve my bullet points?

Optionally, if this site has an AI service switched on: it rewrites a bullet with a stronger verb and never invents facts – metrics are left as [X%] placeholders for you to fill in. Limited to 10 uses per day.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.
