About PowerPoint Editor

Open a PowerPoint presentation and fix it right in your browser – no PowerPoint needed. Every slide is shown with a preview and its text boxes, titles and table cells as simple fields: change a date, a name, a price or a whole paragraph, add or remove lines, and replace a picture with your own photo or logo (it is cropped to fit the same frame). Saving only patches what you changed in the original file, so the design, layouts, fonts, animations, transitions and speaker notes stay exactly as they were. You can also download the result as a PDF. The presentation is edited on your device and not uploaded (only the optional PDF download is converted on our server).

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. Free with no sign-up, no watermark and no hidden limits on pages or files beyond what your device can handle.

Is my presentation uploaded?

No – the .pptx file is opened, edited and saved in your browser. Only the optional PDF download is converted once on our server and deleted right away.

What can I change?

All text in text boxes, titles, placeholders, groups and table cells, and every picture (PNG, JPG or GIF). Moving or resizing shapes, changing fonts or colours, adding slides and editing charts or SmartArt is not possible – use PowerPoint, Keynote or LibreOffice Impress for that.

Will my design and animations be kept?

Yes. Only the text you changed and the pictures you replaced are written back into the original file – themes, layouts, fonts, animations, transitions and speaker notes are untouched. The preview on this page is simplified; the saved file looks like the original.

Can I open .ppt, .odp or Keynote files?

This editor opens .pptx files. Convert older .ppt or .key files to .pptx first (for example with our Keynote to PowerPoint tool), then open them here.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Each slide is shown with its text fields one below the other, so short fixes are easy on a phone.
