About Who Imports This Product? (HS Code)
Type a 6-digit HS code or a product word and see the world's biggest importers of that product: import value in US dollars, share of world imports and the trend over three years. A second list shows Korea's top export markets for the same code, so you can spot markets where demand is big but Korean exporters are still small. The figures are official customs statistics reported by each country to the United Nations (UN Comtrade). Countries report with a delay, so the latest complete year is usually one or two years back – the year and source are always shown.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the data come from?
From UN Comtrade, the United Nations database of official trade statistics. Each country reports its own imports and exports; we show the latest year with enough countries reported.
Why is the newest year missing?
Countries report to the UN months after the year ends, and some take longer. We use the most recent year in which enough countries have reported.
Why is a big country missing?
If a country has not yet reported for that year, it cannot appear. Check again later or look at the trend of earlier years.
Is the value FOB or CIF?
Imports are usually reported CIF (with freight and insurance) and exports FOB. Treat the figures as market size, not as prices.
Is the Who Imports This Product? (HS Code) free?
Yes, completely free with no signup and no daily limit.
