Click an underline to see why and pick a fix, or press Fix all. The language is detected for you. English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese are checked by LanguageTool's open-source engine; every language also gets our quick on-device checks for repeated words, spacing, capital letters, brackets and common misspellings – including Korean 맞춤법 and 띄어쓰기 classics such as 되요 → 돼요. Copy the corrected text or download it as a .txt file. No signup.
Frequently asked questions
Is the grammar checker really free?
Yes. No signup and no daily limit for normal use. The LanguageTool part has a fair-use limit of about 20 checks a minute and 20,000 characters per check.
Which languages does it check?
Full grammar and spelling: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese. Korean, Turkish, Uzbek, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Thai get our basic on-device checks (spacing, repeated words, common misspellings) plus your browser's own spell check.
Is my text stored?
No. The quick checks run in your browser. For the full check your text goes over an encrypted connection straight from your browser to LanguageTool (servers in Germany), which checks it and does not store it. Kitbly never sees or keeps it.
Can it fix everything automatically?
Fix all applies the first suggestion for every mistake. Always read the result – no checker understands what you mean as well as you do.
Does it check Korean spelling (맞춤법 검사)?
It catches common mistakes such as 되요/돼요, 몇일/며칠, 할께/할게, 금새/금세 and spacing in 할 수 있다 / 먹을 것. It is not a full Korean grammar checker yet.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.
