How do I record a call?
Samsung Galaxy phones and iPhones with iOS 18 or newer can record calls in the Phone app. Record the call, then share the recording to Kitbly (or open this page and choose the file).
Do I need permission to record?
Yes. Many countries require that everyone on the call agrees. Always tell the other person before you record.
Is my recording uploaded?
No. Speech recognition runs on your device. The text only leaves it if you choose translation by your browser's cloud, AI polish or the online voice – each is marked.
How accurate is it?
Clear English, Spanish, Russian and Korean are usually good. Noisy calls, several people talking at once and rare languages make more mistakes. Add names in “Names & special words” and pick the language to help.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up and no limits. The first use downloads the speech model once (about 200 MB); after that it works offline.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.
