About Container Loading Calculator (3D)
Pick a container – 20ft, 40ft, 40ft high cube, 45ft, reefer, open top, a European or Korean truck, a pallet or your own size – and list your goods with their size, weight and quantity. The planner loads them automatically, from the back wall to the door, keeping to the payload, the door size and how much weight each item can carry on top. You see the volume and weight used and left, what did not fit and how many more of each item would still fit. Turn the 3D view with your finger or mouse, look from the door, the side or the top, step through the loading order and move items by hand – the planner stops anything that would overlap or float. Download a PDF or PNG loading plan for the warehouse, save the plan as a file or share a link. Everything runs in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the plan?
It is a good practical plan, not a guaranteed best one. Container sizes are typical inside sizes; check your carrier's figures, and leave room for dunnage, lashing and bulging cartons.
Does it respect weight limits?
Yes. It stops at the container's payload, never puts weight on goods marked not stackable, and keeps the weight on top of each item below the limit you set.
Can I move items myself?
Yes. Tap an item in the 3D view (or use the keyboard) and move, turn, lift down or remove it. Items cannot overlap, and they drop down onto whatever is below.
Can it plan round drums?
Yes. Drums are drawn as cylinders and planned as the square they stand in, which is how they are usually loaded.
Are my goods uploaded?
No. The plan is calculated on your device. A share link carries the goods list in the link itself, not on our server.
Is the Container Loading Calculator (3D) free?
Yes, completely free with no signup and no daily limit.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.
